As an artist, I am enchanted by the profound beauty and strength found within the feminine form. It is a constant source of inspiration for me, particularly in its embodiment of the goddess of nature. Growing up near the North East Sea and now residing on the captivating West Coast, my surroundings have deepened my exploration of the profound connection between women and the natural world.

In my figurative ceramics, you will often find women with closed eyes, evoking a sense of reflection, tranquility, and serenity. These moments of stillness enable a profound connection to the world around us. By capturing this introspective stillness, I seek to invite viewers to contemplate their own relationship with the natural world and the feminine essence that permeates it.

Initially, my love for the sea and my fascination with figurative art led me to explore oil painting. I found that the medium allowed me to capture the ever-changing moods and colors of the sea and the coastal landscape. However, over time, I found that my true passion lay in figurative sculpture.
